Selecting an Egg Donor

1. Contact Fertility Resources of Houston LLC to discuss your needs. We realize that donor selection is extremely personal and can seem overwhelming at times.
    
2. An appointment will be scheduled at a time that is best for you. Profiles will be made available, with or without pictures, based on your preference for review. The profiles and biographies offer ten pages of in-depth information regarding the donor. We provide health information going back three generations. There is a $200.00 fee for this visit.
    
3. Once you have chosen a donor, we will contact her to determine her availability. We review any known scheduling conflicts. If the donor agrees, we notify the recipients and request payment.
    
4. We will establish a fund account that will hold the donor’s anticipated fees.
    
5. Once the initial paperwork is complete and the fund account is established, the donors are instructed to make an appointment with the recipient's physician. This appointment should include any additional medical and infectious disease screening, injection instructions, physician consults, and consent forms. A thorough Psychological screening with a psychiatrist is completed before you review the profile.
    
6. We will be notified of earliest possible start date. This is important because all agreements must be signed before any hormone treatment can begin.
